You’ll have assurance that referring to hospice won’t impact your staff’s routines or hinder quality metrics.
VITAS clinicians provide guidance and support in case your resident becomes acutely symptomatic while on hospice care. If appropriate, VITAS can adjust the level of hospice care at any time to provide full-time clinical support and additional palliative measures until your resident’s symptoms are stabilized and pain is managed.
