About This Webinar for Physicians and Healthcare Professionals
In recognition of National Hospice and Palliative Care Month, this webinar is designed for healthcare professionals and includes varying perspectives on the value hospice care, its services, and current landscape.
This will include a personal testimonial from a healthcare professional experienced in end-of-life care who made the decision to refer both of her parents to hospice services; common hospice objections a palliative care physician hears from her medical colleagues; plus one clinician’s views, including a discussion around the benefits of timely referrals to hospice and unique approaches to hospice access for underserved communities.
This webinar is offered for both CE and CME credit:
- CE credit is available to nurses (RN, LPN, LVN; in California Registered Nurses only), social workers and certified case managers, as well as licensed nursing home administrators in the states of Florida and Illinois.
- CME credit is available to physicians (MD, DO), nurse practitioners (NP) and physician assistants (PA).
