The VITAS inpatient hospice unit welcomes patients from San Antonio and surrounding counties. Our highly professional, interdisciplinary team makes sure each patient and family member gets individualized, round-the-clock care.

The social worker acts as a friendly and skilled listener and provides emotional support.
