Marilyn Sincaban is a Medical Director for VITAS Healthcare, the nation’s leading provider of end-of-life care. Dr. Sincaban oversees the medical care and treatment of VITAS patients in their homes, nursing homes, assisted living communities and personal care homes in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She also consults with patients’ attending physicians, supervises VITAS team physicians, guides staff and volunteers, and serves as a resource to practicing physicians and other healthcare professionals on the benefits of hospice and palliative care for patients and their families.
Prior to joining VITAS in 2013, Dr. Sincaban served as Medical Director for the Community Care Organization in Milwaukee, where she also led the Palliative Care Team and the Advanced Disease Support Team. Before that, she was a physician with the Center for Senior Health and Longevity at Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee.
Board certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine and in Geriatric Medicine, Dr. Sincaban received a Bachelor’s Degree from Saint Louis University in Baguio City, Philippines and a Medical Degree from Far Eastern University, Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation, Manila, Philippines. She completed an internship, residency and a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Campus.
