Registered Nurse (RN)
The VITAS RN is responsible for initiating the appropriate intervention and support for our patients and families and provides a continuously appropriate, comprehensive and responsive plan of care. To qualify for the position, candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse and a current registered nurse license.
Home Health Aide (HHA)
VITAS home health aides (HHAs) are certified home health aides (CHHAs) or certified nursing assistants (CNAs) who provide hands-on care to our patients, providing personal care and sometimes assisting with light housekeeping and shopping. Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least one (1) year of direct patient-care experience and a CNA or HHA certification.
