Telecare Registered Nurse (RN)
The VITAS Healthcare Telecare RN is a member of the interdisciplinary team who is the pivotal person responsible for identifying the physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of those patients and families needing assistance after normal business hours. You will initiate appropriate interventions to the patients and families by utilizing the nursing process, the VITAS Palliative Care Guide and Telecare Protocols during alternate hours. To qualify for the position, candidates must have a current registered nurse license. Two years of customer service/call center experience preferred.


Telecare Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
The VITAS Healthcare Telecare LPN is a member of the interdisciplinary team who is responsible for identifying the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs of those patients and families needing assistance during alternate hours. All clinical tasks for this supporting position will be performed under the collaboration and direction of the Telecare RN as needed. To qualify for the position, candidates must have a current LPN/LVN license. Two years of customer service/call center experience preferred.


Admissions Coordinator
The VITAS Healthcare Care Connection Center Admissions Coordinator is a customer service professional who facilitates the conversion of referrals to admissions through the completion of the intake process and the use of effective communication, technology and customer service skills. To qualify for the position, candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years of related experience in medical terminology and/or in a call center environment. Completion of high school or basic education equivalency required. Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus.


Overnight Admissions Coordinator
The VITAS Healthcare Care Connection Center Overnight Admissions Coordinator is a customer service professional who facilitates the conversion of referrals to admissions during overnight shifts through the completion of the intake process and the use of effective communication, technology and customer service skills. To qualify for the position, candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years of related experience in medical terminology and/or in a call center environment. Completion of high school or basic education equivalency required. Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus.


Patient Care Coordinator
The VITAS Healthcare Patient Care Coordinator is a member of the interdisciplinary team who effectively processes calls, answers general questions, provides information, and transfers calls to triage nurses when appropriate during alternate hours. To qualify for the position, candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years of related experience in medical terminology and/or in a call center environment. Completion of high school or basic education equivalency required. Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus.
