Home Health Care Clinical Director - Glastonbury
The VITAS clinical director is a registered nurse (RN) who oversees the clinical and financial operations of the VITAS multi-disciplinary staff, ensures care is provided to the ultimate satisfaction of patients and their families, and ensures clinical appropriateness and quality of patient care according to Medicare regulations. Qualified candidates must have at least five (5) years of managerial experience in healthcare with responsibility for operations and sales, proven fiscal and budgetary experience and knowledge of all applicable federal, state and local regulations is essential, a a current and valid Registered Nurse License to practice in the state of Connecticut, and a Bachelor's of nursing degree. A Masters degree is preferred.
RN Supervisor of Clinical Services (Team Manager)
The VITAS RN supervisor is the leader of the VITAS patient care team who supervises, evaluates and coordinates the members of the interdisciplinary team. Qualified candidates have two (2) years of successful supervisory experience or equivalent in a health care organization, a Bachelor's of nursing degree, and a current and valid Registered Nurse License to practice in the state of Connecticut.
