Senior Sitecore Developer responsibilities include technical design, development, documentation and maintenance of digital properties and data integration between systems – both internal and external. Also responsible for proprietary and vendor software system design, development and maintenance.  As an architect you are required to work independently and within a team structure and engage multiple departments throughout the corporation.

A variety of skills are necessary for success in this position including experience with enterprise content management systems, project management principles, leadership, and solid interpersonal skills. 

  • Analyze the business requirements and data flows to effectively program, support, and test applications built primarily on the Sitecore web content management platform.
  • Stay abreast of new emerging technologies development processes.
  • Provide complete and comprehensive documentation of systems developed.
  • Utilize industry standards for C#, .NET and web development.
  • Maintain a high proficiency level with system architectures, and database system models.
  • Develop, maintain, and report on project schedules.

 

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5 years Sitecore experience and back-end web development
  • Strong knowledge of C#, .NET and IIS
  • Knowledge of SQL and/or relational database systems
  • Experienced in working with SiteCore MVC
  • Experience with Azure PaaS Sitecore XP install
  • Ability to work on various assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate tactfully, verbally and in writing with department heads, managers, coworkers and vendors to resolve problems and negotiate resolutions
  • Working knowledge of computers, internet access, and the ability to navigate within an automated system as well as a variety of software packages such as Excel and Word
  • Familiarity working within Agile / Scrum project lifecycles

 

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent required.
  • Sitecore developer certification required (9.0 or greater)
