VITAS HME Delivery Technician

In this entry-level position, you will drive a 14-foot box truck to deliver, set up, service and pick up medical equipment and related supplies, both to and from patients’ residences and skilled patient care facilities. Your responsibilities will include transporting, loading/unloading and handling equipment to comply with infection control, equipment maintenance needs and safety guidelines. You will talk to the customer and others in private homes about location of equipment and proper usage. You will also perform both preventive and non-scheduled equipment maintenance. On-call work hours are required.

VITAS HME Warehouse Technician

In this position, you will perform a variety of warehouse functions including supplying inventory and shipping, as well as receiving, identifying, labeling, disinfecting, storing, testing and record-keeping of medical equipment. Duties include both preventive and non-scheduled equipment maintenance, plus cleaning and overall maintenance of the warehouse.

VITAS HME Customer Service Representative

In this key position, you will work in the fast-paced environment of our division call centers to coordinate with patients, customers and other team members to deliver outstanding, courteous customer service over the phone. To be successful in this role, you will complete tasks with minimum supervision, exercise excellent independent judgment and accurately record information into our computer database.

VITAS HME Operations Manager

In this supervisory position, you will coordinate the daily functions of our home medical equipment office operations, dispatch, inventory control and communications with management to provide the full spectrum of HME services. Your responsibilities will include purchasing equipment, tracking and insuring inventory/documentation, maintaining outside vendor files, reviewing patient records and detailing equipment expenses. You’ll also interview, select, orient, review and manage drivers, technicians and warehouse employees.
