Home Care Registered Nurse (RN) - On-Call
The VITAS home-care RN is responsible for initiating the appropriate intervention and support for our patients and families and provides a continuously appropriate, comprehensive and responsive plan of care. To qualify for the position, candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse and a current state of Illinois RN license.
Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
The VITAS LPN evaluates the needs of patients and families and provides direct skilled bedside nursing care to our patients according to the plan of care under the supervision of a registered nurse. To qualify for the position, candidates must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience and a current state of Illinois LPN license.
Home Care Home Health Aide (CNA)
The VITAS home health aide is a certified nursing assistant (CNA) or certified home health aide (CHHA) who provides personal care and services to VITAS patients to augment the care given by family members. To qualify for the position, candidates must have a minimum of one (1) year of direct patient care experience and a current certification.
