The administrative clerk provides assistance to the Business Manager in the implementation of an office system that will enhance the smooth operation of the Hospice.

 

  • Responsible for maintaining sufficient inventory of patient and office supplies.
  • Daily monitoring of inventory, placing orders with proper vendors, and receiving the orders placed to insure accuracy of vendor’s invoices. 
  • Maintaining office equipment in operable condition including all fax and copy machines, ordering service for repairs as needed. 
  • Setting up conference rooms for special meetings or orientations.
  • Maintain inventory of Vitas forms. 
  • Order office supplies, program pagers for all appropriate team members, and order business cards for appropriate team members.   Handling all outgoing bulk mail, stamping, and delivering mail to facility. 
  • Check kitchen and restock the counters with coffee, condiments, paper goods, etc.
  • Check that all copiers, printers, and fax machines are loaded with paper.
  • Assist with facilities maintenance of the program as directed by the Business Manager.

 8am -5pm Must be willing to travel between offices.

Qualifications

  • Qualified candidates must have the following:
  • Minimum of two years office experience:
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills required
  • Ability to work with confidential matters
  • Moderate typing skills, and some computer applications

Education

  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
