The Commercial Collections Manager is responsible for improving collection and accounts receivable performance on commercial accounts. Manage the Billing & Collections Supervisor and staff of commercial collectors. Interfaces and supports field patient intake and contract development efforts. Manages all activities related to Commercial and Managed Care collection functions for hospice patients. Enforces policies and procedures according to administrative and legal requirements Adheres to budget and operating plan Monitor Accounts Receivable performance within Billing & Collections and maintains corporate standards for days outstanding (DSO) and write-offs. Becomes knowledgeable with the VITAS computer system. Prepares, analyzes and presents reports as required. Familiar with industry best practices with respect to commercial billing and collections. Expertise in both government and non-government reimbursement issues.

Qualified candidates must have five + years of management experience in a multi-health care accounts receivable billing & collections environment. Computer literate including extensive experience in Microsoft Business applications (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint). Must be able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication presentation and customer service skills. Ability to work on various projects simultaneously.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent preferred.
