Provides subject matter expertise in implementing best practices for Oracle Cloud Payroll/Absence/Expenses and Core HR.  Partners with the payroll team to deliver solutions and identify opportunities for increased operational efficiency.

  • Identifies, analyzes, and documents defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in Oracle Payroll function.
  • Address challenges of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platform integration.
  • Performs high-level support for the payroll function.
  • Develop best practices for effective functional support for the Payroll Department.
  • Gather and document business requirements and testing in Oracle
  • Identifies new solutions and opportunities in the Payroll Department
  • Implement and maintain a continuous improvement process.
  • Responds to inquiries from payroll team and offers technical support regarding functions and operations of Oracle.
  • Provides Oracle Payroll training to payroll team.
  • Recommends program improvements or revisions to programmers and system analysts.
  • Communicates needs to Reporting lead to help create reports analyses
  • Works with HRIS on updates and fixes.
  • Researches and reviews errors.
  • Reviews computer logs and reports to identify program processing errors and possible improvements.
  • Identifies program variances from standards and suggests modifications to conform.
  • Assists users to isolate possible problems in software after implementation.
  • Monitors program performance to prevent recurrence of program operating problems.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Five to eight years of experience on various Payroll ERP Products like Oracle EBS, Fusion and PeopleSoft including around 3+ years of experience as Oracle HRMS and Fusion HCM Functional Consultant.
  • Expert Level knowledge on Initial setups and defining common application configurations while implementing the payroll
  • Implementing the Core HR and Payroll is the primary responsibility.
  • Experience in Element Configuration using Payroll Batch Loader, has good knowledge of fast formulas and wrote fast formulas for Payroll module.
  • Must have worked on Oracle Fusion Functional Setup Manager (FSM) to implement enhancements.
  • Expertise on Human Resource Management System (HRMS) of Oracle Applications including Oracle Human Resources (HR), Oracle Payroll.
  • Experience in Design, Development and implementation of Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud and Oracle application
  • Has good experience on Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud Implementation and support.
  • Worked on end to end implementation in Global HR, Payroll, Compensation and Benefit modules, creating value sets and using them in flex fields like Descriptive / Extensible.
  • Experience in Element Configuration using Payroll Batch Loader, has good knowledge of fast formulas and wrote fast formulas for Payroll module.
  • Ability to work on various assignments simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills within all levels of the organization
  • Ability to navigate within automated systems and proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Business, or related field from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent required.
