Responsible for working with teams across the organization and within marketing to strategize, create varied content and operate channels for distribution. This individual is highly organized with the ability to work under deadlines to achieve project success.

Job Functions - Program:

  • Coordinate day-to-day on-line and off-line activities for assigned portfolio of external clients.  May include, but not limited to, the creation of posters, flyers, brochures, social media posting, etc.
  • Coordinate elements relating to internal and external marketing, events, presentations, lectures and any community outreach programs or sponsorships.
  • Monitor, identify, evaluate and provide feedback on assigned projects and resolves issues. 
  • Manage projects using agile-based methods within our project tracking application.
  • Coordinate implementation of work plans and coordinates that project work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain weekly project reports/summaries to ensure projects are current, accurate and viable.
  • Assist external clients on issues relating to marketing, business development, involvement in community organizations and events and any other business generation activities.
  • Establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with co-workers and other members of the organization.
  • Work closely with multiple advertising agencies, outside consultants and any other support entities to assist in the development of strategic marketing plans and assures all missions’ critical deadlines are met.
  • Maintain change management system that includes acceptance and risk management for projects; identifies, evaluates and mitigates project risks from a technical, labor hour and schedule perspective.
  • Review specification sheets, obtain and prepare bids, and act as liaison with vendors in such areas as delivering marketing material, scheduling proofs, and meetings.
  • Maintain customer database and generate internal database information, such as lists and counts for direct marketing projects.
  • Maintain inventory of marketing literature, archive files, and sample files.
  • Coordinate all related functions or administrative projects and/or duties on an ongoing basis in support of AVP Strategic Marketing.
  • Serve as a liaison between the AVP Strategic Marketing and program management or other departments within VITAS.
  • Gather information and conducts research on special projects as required by the AVP Strategic Marketing.
  • Stay abreast with training specifications on the systems and software as required.
  • Provide systems training, support, and guidance to marketing coordinators and collaborate on special projects aligned with the corporate strategy.

Job Functions - Content:

  • Use marketing and organizational resources to create digital content based on recommendation, company need, or personal ideation.
  • Strategize and develop digital content based on varied personas and audiences, including consumers, caregivers, healthcare professionals, industry partners, current employees, and prospective employees.
  • Specialize in content responsibilities for external and internal digital content.
  • Strategize and execute content distribution channels including social media.
  • Maintain ongoing expertise in social media channels, including knowledge and execution of all available features.
  • Collaborate with digital analytics team members to make evidence-based content and channel decisions.
  • Manage cross-platform content functionality for varying screen sizes, including mobile app content
  • Work closely with in-house design team to develop visuals for content, display ads, visuals for social media, downloadable PDFs and other collateral, while ensuring consistent delivery of the VITAS brand.
  • Work closely with in-house copywriting team to create appropriate copy for digital materials that meets the chosen audience’s needs.
  • Collaborate with our digital agency and external partners to execute digital content creation needed for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and paid social media marketing.
  • Assign tasks and provide leadership to Digital Marketing Coordinator as needed.
  • Manage projects using agile-based methods within our project tracking application.
  • Assist our hospice programs with digital content, social media postings and campaigns.
  • Build and publish digital content within our content management system and social media management systems, while maintaining expertise on new features and functionality.
  • Specialize in best practices for text and visual digital content, with a deep understanding of writing for the web, to effectively create and edit digital materials.
  • Establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with co-workers and other members of VITAS.
  • Stay abreast with training specifications on the systems and software as required.
  • Provide systems training, support, and guidance to marketing coordinators and collaborate on special projects aligned with the corporate strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2-4 years prior advertising agency and/or health care marketing experience preferred.
  • Must have superior organization skills with the ability to work on various assignments simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills within all levels of the organization
  • Ability to navigate within automated systems and proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and working knowledge of Adobe.
  • Bilingual a plus.
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent required.
