VITAS team,
I am writing to thank you for the exceptional care VITAS and your staff provided my grandmother, Wladyslawa H. My sister (who is a registered nurse) arrived at the nursing home on Saturday to find my grandmother in pain and her system showing signs of shutting down. My sister called your employee, Tina Krieger, for help, and Tina arrived within an hour (even though it was her day off), confirmed the need for hospice and put in place an around-the-clock nurse to be at my grandmother’s bedside immediately. Our VITAS nurses … brought their own unique style of caregiving to my grandmother, in addition to comforting and educating my family. My grandmother peacefully passed away two days later.

I speak on behalf of my entire family … when I say how grateful we are to have had Tina go out of her way to quickly respond on a day on which she had no obligation, for her coordination of the care provided to our grandmother and for the wonderful nurses and CNAs who made the last days for our grandmother so comfortable. Please extend our thanks and gratitude to all of them.
