Paul Crockett is a General Manager for VITAS Innovative Hospice Care®, the nation’s leading provider of end-of-life care. Paul oversees all aspects of VITAS’ Chicagoland Central program, including operations, business development, patient care and personnel.  

A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Paul brings more than 20 years of experience in business and nursing to his role as a hospice administrator. After a business career as assistant director of patient accounts in a hospital setting, Paul returned to school to earn an RN, then BSN. Prior to joining VITAS, he served as executive director of Seasons Hospice in its Illinois programs. Before that, he was an executive director and general manager for Odyssey Hospice in Illinois. Earlier in his nursing career, he worked in the home health field in clinical and managerial positions.

Paul earned his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois, and his master’s degree from DePaul University in Chicago.
