Patient Care Administrator

Qualified candidate will oversee the clinical and financial operations of the multi disciplinary staff, ensure care is provided to the ultimate satisfaction of patients and their families ensuring clinical appropriateness and quality of patient care according to Medicare regulations.

The successful candidate will have four years of management and two years of home health experience. Must be a currently-licensed RN in the state applying and a Master's degree is preferred. Proven fiscal and budgetary experience and knowledge of all applicable federal, state and local regulations is essential.

Regional Director Market Development

Provide overall support and direction to program Director Market Development. Develops strategic plans that support the organization of sales goals, mission, and values based on internal and external needs assessment. Oversee regional sales meetings for assigned region. Monitors the internal, external environment and identifies opportunities to fulfill the sales strategy. Responsible for assigned director development in the areas of interviewing, coaching, and Vitas Representative development. Train and give direction to DMD to ensure knowledge, skill and performance standards are met or exceeded. Five to ten years prior related experience, ability to work on various assignments simultaneously. Regional Director Market Development in Atlanta, GA

Medical Director
The Medical Director has the overall responsibility for medical direction of the care and treatment of the patients and their families rendered by the hospice care team. Consults with and cooperates with patient's attending physician.The Medical Director educates practicing physicians and others engaged in health care services regarding the hospice program and its potential benefits to patients. Supervises and assures the quality of clinical care, supervision of team physicians, management; participant in strategic planning, budget process, clinical audits and compliance, community relations, and education. The Medical Director reports directly to the General Manager of the Hospice Program.


Continuous Care Staffing Manager
The Continuous Care Staffing Manager job is to plan, develop, organize, and evaluate the resource programs to support the work of the patient care teams.

Qualifications: Two years management experience and two years successful supervisory experience or equivalent in a healthcare organization. One year staffing management preferred. Organized, self-starter, detail-oriented with excellent time management and interpersonal skills. Ability to hand multiple tasks simultaneously and to handle duties of staffing coordinator in absence of one. Computer literate and typing skills. Ability to speak effectively to groups.

Education: Current and valid RN License to practice in the state where the VITAS program is located. BSN degree preferred.



Telecare Supervisor
The Triage Customer Service Supervisor is a profession customer service oriented supervisor who provides direction to the Triage staff in order to enable the ultimate level of service delivery to patients and families during alternate business hours. The triage customer service supervisor is responsible for providing the clinical oversight in the call center environment.

Qualifications: Develop strategies and plans to achieve qualitative and quantitative service variables for triage staff and call center operation to enhance services to patients and families after routine business hours. Monitor and analyze results and revise strategies with Director of Customer Service for Triage. Assist Director of Customer Service Triage with recruitment activities, training and orientation to ensure knowledge, skill and performance standards are met or exceeded. Supervise the Triage process to ensure policy and procedure is followed and best practices for hospice service delivery occurs during hours of operation. Monitor triage staff for knowledge application and customer service skill with coaching for improved performance and productivity. Monitor Triage staff documentation for quality and clinical content. Monitor communication techniques of triage staff and provide feedback according to customer service and performance standards.

Education: Nursing license in state of employment. Bachelors degree in nursing or equivalent experience. Knowledge of hospice care and services.

Director of Market Development -
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop departmental goals, construct strategies and plans, direct implementation, monitor and assess results.
  • Recruit and coordinate training for and give direction to VITAS Representatives to ensure that knowledge, skill, and performance standards are met or exceeded.
  • Maintain contacts with key referral sources that support long term business relationships.
  • Participate in recruitment and training for Hospice Representatives and if applicable, Admission Coordinators and Admissions Nurses as related to sales goals and activities.
  • Initiate internal communications to build effective relationships with the Senior Management Team, with the Patient Care Department, and with the Volunteer Department.
  • Maintain professional and clinical competence.
  • Review Hospice Representative account profiles and sales activities in CRM application at least three times per week to ensure sales force productivity and effectiveness.   Use CRM reports and data to analyze business trends and construct appropriate growth plans by territory.
  • Continually develop skill set of Hospice Representatives by traveling with them, in the field three days per week.  Complete coaching evaluation forms using CRM application for each day or call spent with Hospice Representatives.
  • Conduct weekly sales meetings that include a 30- 45 minute segment for skill development of the sales team.  Create agenda in CRM application the week prior to each sales meeting.
  • Prepare Hospice Representatives for corporate sales training within the first 90 days of their employment using designated Hospice Representative orientation materials.

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Sales/marketing experience.
  • Proven 2‑5 years sales management experience in a health care environment. VITAS professional/management experience will be accepted in lieu of external health care managx


General Manager
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee local functioning of corporate operational systems, develop and expand revenue performance and business potential. Responsible for patient and family services programs and represent VITAS in the community. At least 5 years managerial experience in healthcare with responsibility for operations and sales. Working knowledge of budget development, financial profit and loss processes and human resources required. Bachelor's degree required. Graduate coursework preferred.
