PARENTS AND FAMILIES

1.      Compassionate Friends. For those who have experienced the death of a child regardless of the age of the child. 2.      HOPES (Helping Our Parents Experiencing Sorrow). Offers support to parents experiencing loss due to miscarriage, stillbirth or death soon after birth. They meet every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7p.m. in the Pastoral Care Office of Harris Methodist Hospital, Fort Worth, TX. Call 817-882-2092.

SPOUSAL LOSS

 

1.      Catholic Renewal Center: 4503 Bridge Street, Fort Worth, TX  76103. Offers spring and fall support groups for widowed, separated or divorced. A Spanish group is also available. For support groups call 817-261-9706.

2.      Widowed Persons Services:  An outreach support group for the newly widowed. They meet at various times and at various places. Hours are from Mon-Friday, 10a.m.-2p.m. Call 817-551-2922.

 

PRACTICAL RESOURCES AND EVERYDAY NEEDS
