VITAS Innovative Hospice Care® has been caring for Texas patients near the end of life and their families since 1988. Today our four texas programs care for approximately 900 patients every day from offices in Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Houston.

VITAS (pronounced VEE-tahss) brings hospice to the home, whether that is a private residence, hospital, nursing home or assisted living community. If care is required outside the home, VITAS has 5 inpatient hospice units in Texas and has special arrangement in other hospitals that may be closer to a patient resisdence. VITAS team members include registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, hospice aides, physicians, social workers, chaplains and volunteers.
